The Founding Certified Breeders are the first entities to complete the ElitePetz Certification process under the Certification Standards Framework.
These breeders joined during the initial formation of the ElitePetz Certification Authority and demonstrated early commitment to transparency, structured review, and compliance standards.
Founding status reflects timing of certification — not preferential treatment or enhanced standing.
All Founding Certified Breeders are subject to the same standards, compliance obligations, and enforcement framework as all other certified entities.
What "Founding" Status Means
Founding Certified Breeders:
➤ Were among the first approved under the ElitePetz Certification Framework
➤ Agreed to early adoption of structured disclosure requirements
➤ Accepted ongoing compliance obligations
➤ Support the development of transparent certification practices within the pet breeding sector
Founding designation does not imply lifetime status.
It recognizes early participation in the establishment of the certification program.
Certification Status Transparency
Each Founding Certified Breeder:
➤ Has an individual certification record in the ElitePetz Registry
➤ Has a unique Certification Reference ID (EP-YYYY-####-XXX)
➤ Appears publicly only while holding Active status
➤ Is subject to suspension, revocation, or expiration under the Governance & Enforcement Framework
