Introduction
ElitePetz Certification Authority ("ElitePetz," "the Authority," "we," "us") operates a private certification system for entities within the companion animal breeding sector.
This Policy explains how information is collected, used, protected, retained, and disclosed while using the ElitePetz Platform.
By creating an account, submitting an application, or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Member Account Information
When creating a member account, the Platform may collect:

Passwords are handled by Wix infrastructure. ElitePetz does not store plain-text passwords.
ElitePetz collects only information necessary to operate the certification system.

Confirmation that the applicant has read and agreed to the Certification Standards, Code of Ethics, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy
Agreement confirmation is recorded as part of the application record and must be affirmed for submission to proceed.
Each application is stored as an independent record, including repeat submissions from the same applicant.

If an application is approved, a certification record is created containing:

Rejected applications do not create certification records.

ElitePetz maintains a permanent certification activity log. This log records:

Actor type (Applicant or Admin)

Administrative reasoning
Entries are maintained as append-only records and are not edited or deleted as part of standard operations.
This structure preserves institutional record integrity.
