Report a concern about a certified entity
Use this official channel if you believe an ElitePetz-certified entity may not be meeting applicable certification requirements or may be misrepresenting its certification.
How to submit a concern
Submit concerns through the Complaint Intake Form in the Contact section. Specific, factual information helps ElitePetz determine whether a matter falls within its certification oversight role.
Confirm the record first
Before submitting, verify the entity’s name, registry reference, and current certification status. Businesses with similar names may be unrelated, and certification status can change.

Use this form for a concern about an entity whose certification is currently, or was previously, listed in the ElitePetz public registry.
Important: A submitted concern is information for assessment. It does not establish that a violation occurred and does not guarantee an investigation, certification action, or particular outcome.

Outside this channel’s role
The registry is not a public review platform and does not publish user ratings or comments. ElitePetz is not law enforcement, an emergency service, or a general forum for resolving private commercial disputes.
What happens after submission
The status history is a record of changes to a certification after a public certification record has been issued. It is not a public copy of an application file, investigation file, or internal decision record.

Intake
The submission may be reviewed for completeness and relevance to the applicable ElitePetz certification requirements.

Administrative assessment
Relevant, evidence-based information may lead to administrative review. ElitePetz may seek clarification when contact details are available.

Status action, if warranted
If the applicable process supports action, certification status may be updated under ElitePetz policies. Public information remains limited to what appears in the registry.
Fair and neutral assessment
Submitting a concern does not create a presumption against the certified entity. Information is assessed under the applicable process, and procedural details or submitted materials may not be publicly disclosed.
Safety and privacy
Urgent safety or legal matters
If a person or animal is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service, animal-welfare authority, or law-enforcement agency. Do not wait for an ElitePetz administrative response.
Privacy of submissions
Information may be used to assess and administer the report in accordance with the ElitePetz Privacy Policy and applicable procedures. Submit only information you are authorized to provide and that is relevant to the concern.
