The ElitePetz Certification Authority accepts applications from companion animal breeding entities seeking evaluation under its published Standards Framework. Submitting the form begins a formal review and creates a confidential administrative application record.
Scope of certification
Certification may be requested by companion animal breeding entities seeking independent evaluation under the Authority's published standards.
Applications are evaluated under the Authority’s published standards, governance policies, and certification procedures. Any resulting certification is issued by ElitePetz and documented in its public registry.

Completeness Review
The Authority verifies that sufficient information has been provided to conduct a standards-based evaluation.

Standards Evaluation
Reviewers assess the application using the Authority’s published standards and certification procedures.

Application Received
The submission is recorded in the Authority’s administrative system and assigned a unique application reference number.
Stage 04
Determination Issued
The decision is recorded and communicated to the applicant. Approved applicants receive payment and certification-issuance instructions, where applicable.
Review process
Each application follows a structured review process intended to support consistent evaluation, complete records, and a documented certification decision.
To preserve impartiality and consistency, the Authority does not provide pre-approval opinions, informal eligibility assessments, or advisory determinations before completion of the review process.
Applicant responsibility

False, misleading, or materially incomplete information may result in denial, suspension, revocation, or other action permitted under the Authority’s governance policies.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate, complete, and current, and for maintaining compliance with any obligations associated with an issued certification.
